In 1969 Troy David VanVeldhuizen (Troy David) was born in Faribault, Minnesota, with an almost immediate love and interest for art. He credits this artistic passion to his maternal family's bloodline. As a child, Troy David won the "Keep North Dakota Clean" state poster contest, and was recognized for his efforts with personal praise from former North Dakota Governor, Art Link.

A lot of my artwork has to do with altered states of awareness, middle-class suburban disillusionment, resolving childhood pain, and meta-programming the psyche. I consider myself to be fine artist transferring fine art techniques to the digital medium. Marie Ban was born on 8th February 1982 in Prague. in 2000 she became a student in the Academy of Fine Arts of Prague, where she studied with profesor Karel Stretti classical techniques of painting and restauration. Later on she decided to move to the School of Fine Arts at the University of Granada. Andalucia is still her place of residence. Daune Sheri offers an acute awareness to the discipline of portraiture. All studies are created in graphite pencil or pen & ink due to its intricate texture that lends to a heightened realistic approach, thus creating a visually strong composition with the end result being an articulate, fine detailed rendition of the subject. She has a passion to create that is conveyed not by representation alone, but rather, by how it is done so with artistry.

I paint with oils and sculpt with metal.

Largely my themes share similarity with other artist in certain treatment. Though not so sociable a person, I am keen at observing social phenomena; subjectively. I can’t say I am critical, political, or any other things. But I should say that I am sensitive and artful in depicting my themes. And that feels like tasting a strange food without commenting about it but bodily expressing something about the taste.

I'm a 20 year old art major, sorority girl, James Madison University, in Harrisonburg, VA. I like crazy surrealist paintings, I'm not into anything too traditional right now. My favorite medium is oil on canvas, but I also like chalk pastels, or just plain old pencil on paper, also charcoal, and ink wash. I hate acrylic paints. They remind me of plastic. I like to do medium sized oil paintings, no larger than 46" x 36" but I plan on doing bigger ones soon.

George Sakelaris is a Greek-American, born and raised in the beach community of Asbury Park, New Jersey. Surrounded by his mother's paintings and regaled by stories of an accomplished artist relative in Greece, he started drawing at an early age. A yearning for the 'old country' led him continuously to the shores of Santorini, Mykonos, and many other inspiring locales in Greece. The classic architecture, so different from that in America, influenced him deeply. The clean lines of the whitewashed buildings with blue trim, and the awesome backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea has inspired many of his works. His medium of choice is monochrome pencil drawing, allowing your imagination to fill in the vivid colors of the scene.
