I feel joy inside, because I never have to wonder or feel that I am alone

When I think of God’s love and mercy, suddenly all the clouds are gone

Its like standing in a field, with a gentle wind blowing and flowers blooming for miles around

Its like feeling the love in every love song but never actually hearing a sound

Its like being able to still feel safe even when the rivers of life run deep

Its knowing that someone understands all the secrets that we keep

Its knowing that God cares unconditionally, even when the whole world has gone mad

Its having an inner happiness even when circumstances would leave you sad

Its knowing the odds are against you and the water has risen to levels designed to drown

And you have resigned yourself to death but eternal life is what you have found

Its knowing that through him all things are possible and with him you cannot fail

Its finding that little piece of heaven in the middle of a world thats gone to hell

Its about surrendering to God, His tender mercy, unending love and his perfect will

Because unless you have known God, you can’t even but imagine the unlimited joy you can feel
