Description
Leona Craig Art Gallery, 11 Guigang 3 Ma Lu, in Guangzhou, is pleased to announce the first gallery exhibition of the sculpture of Pan He, the Michelangelo of China, along with sculpture by his son, Pan Fen. Both artists have created well-known public sculpture around Guangzhou and around China, and smaller versions of their work are quite rare and coveted. The exhibition includes a number of important pieces.
Born in the 1920’s, Pan He’s sculpture is tradition, while his son, born in the 1960’s has a more modern take on sculpture. Both are excellent at subtle social commentary.
