it doesn't matter, to me, I paint because I like to paint, if someone wants to compare my art to someone elses, well then so be it, have at it, either way it don't matter to me!

For what purpose? I would rather a critique of my work. How would it benefit artists? Anything that helps I am fine with, if it doesn't have helping the artists improve in mind I would rather not.

I don't mind having my work compared to other artists.

I am interested when I am compared to the great artists and I check the common points.

I would love to. Would be interesting to view these artists' work and see where the similarities lie.

People compare everywhere, so, having work in a place together with the work of other artist let the people compare all of them. I do not care about comparision, I used to do what I do with my own style.

I am sometimes compared to MUCHA...which is a DIVINE compliment. What a master~! People feel my use of line and lyrical approach is a throw back to another classy era. Classy is good.

i dont mind ,its my art and if people dont like it ,tough,if they do its a bonus

Depends on what I think of the artist they are comparing me to.

I don't mind when someone says my art reminds them of some master artist I respect. I do mind when they say an average 10 year old could do better than I just did.
